Today, in Europe, when you make your very first flight, let's say as a child with your parents or as a student later on, it will be almost certainly on a B737 or an A320.
Unless your first flight is a longhaul flight, which is typically not the case. The usual first flight is within Europe, e.g. from Germany to the island of Mallorca etc.
E.g., my two daughters: each of their first flight was a B737 (TUIfly and Air Berlin respectively).
I just became 48 and when I started flying there was no A320 and there was a much larger number of different aircraft types.
My second flight was on a B737, PanAm from FRA to TXL in 1981 (the first flight was on a THY DC-10).
I had to fly one more decade, let's say about 15-times, until I had my first flight on an A320 (LH, cannot remember when exactly).
