This is ''hot news'' ! This is the first & the only aircraft in the fleet of this brand new airline from Sierra Leone. Seen here on final approach to runway 30. Congratulations !!! (Former AP-BCL of PIA & C-FCRE of CP Air).

Livery is a bit bland.

It's amazing that this aircraft is still flying after such a long history! To have been flying with CP Air definitely makes it a workhorse. I hope it stays in one piece and serves the company well.

A nice simple yet effective livery, captures the colours well. Any chance anyone has the website for this new airline? What routes do they operate?

Great shot but frankly, I could've painted the livery better myself when I was making an Airfix at age 6! The livery looks cheap and very nasty!

Interestingly, two photos of this plane, taken 20 years apart, are uploaded the same day!

Thay probably used PIA's leftover paint scheme and put an orange on the tail :)

Nice shot but also I must agree that we could do better(painting the orange or tangerine) at age six!!

Great shot, I like the paintjob except for the tail.

It is also very nice to see a good old 747-200 still alive and kicking. It is the only Boeing widebody I have ever flown on, nice aircraft.

Where did you stand to take this shot? Me, i can only recommend the Parking of ELDAN when rwy 30 is in use. Another possibility is to stand near to the fuel station at the entry of llbg for rwy 30.

I think this photo was taken between "Airport city" (hi-tech zone) and road #40, since I've been there few times.

Oh how it does make me happy to see one of the ex 747-217B CP's still flying. Hmmm, I wonder if they would consider painting it ORANGE? Hehehe :) Maybe a red stripe with a bare aluminum belly. I think I saw that once and it looked really good. ;)

The angle and lighting are good, and the fact that this is a "one & only" aircraft makes it more noteworthy. I saw this bird parked on the apron at TLV last month. Now when looking at the aircraft's history, I am quite sure that I was onboard many years ago when the paint scheme was indeed orange (good ol' CP Air). Keep up the good work, Erez.
